Well, we are three games into the season and BSU is finally back on the blue turf. Boy am I happy. Mom has been doing so well that she was up to going to the game along with Tex, TJ and I. It was a balmy 98 degree's out. It was a hot one! It was so hot my paint was running ...
We are so happy that mom is doing so much better! Mom has been feeling so well she invited Tristan, Lisa and I to see The Lion King. Tristan was so cute, held Grandma's hand on the way in and shared his popcorn with her inside. Super special day!
Dad and Sue were back into for an extended layover on their way back from Minnesota. They stayed with Tex and I which I really enjoyed. I don't think they have stayed with us since "the event" the event, also known as "3 years, 3 months", as Dad referes to it : ) It was nice to get to spend some extended time with them. Sunday we ended up having quite the little BBQ. Garrett and Eric and some of the kids came over. It was nice for them to get some time with them too.
Tonight we headed down to Ann Morrison Park to watch the Night Glow Parade for the Spirit of Boise. Tex, Lisa, TJ and I packed up our chairs and some goodies along with hundreds of other families. I packed some cheese and crackers, and olives, and some drinks.
This is one of only 6 hand painted balloons in the world. The little girl in the picture was 6 when the balloon was painted. Now she is the pilot of the balloon.
The Coke balloon was on display.
Tristan's face was priceless!
Mickey Mouse was also on display!
As daylight gave way to dusk the pilot's began to fill their balloons.
Here we go! One by one the balloons were introduced. Then the announcer made them shine!
Live footage from the festivities just in case you missed it!
