Happy Birthday Lisa W.

Today is not only election day, but it is also Lisa Welter's birthday! Dad and Sue are up at Tamarack and we will all be going to dinner on Thursday but today Patti, Tex, Tristan and I wanted to take her out to celebrate her special day! Lisa chose Great Wall, which is a Chinese Buffet. We ate dinner and let her open her gifts! It was a great day!

Time to open presents

Ok, so this is the funniest story! While Gail and Carrie were here we went to the mall. Tristan and Carrie got into one of those photo booth's and we made Lisa a photo cube for her birthday. As if that was not cute enough, Patti and I forgot about the cube until dinner. Patti ran out and got the cube from the truck and it was not put together yet. Patti and I went to the back to put the cube together, the funny thing is we could not figure it out. One of the waitresses there was a young girl and she asked what we were doing. We told her we were putting together a picture cube. She asked, one from the mall? We said yes. She spent the next few minutes showing us how to put them together. It was so funny!

3rd Annual Chili Feed/Tristan Jacoby's 1st Birthday!

Well, the day has finally arrived! The chili is ready and the party favors have been stuffed! The third annual chili feed is under way in honor of Tristan Jacoby's first birthday. This is a very special day for us for many reasons, it was one year ago that we were in Atlanta picking up our son, and it is only a few short month's since dad's accident and we are very blessed that he is here with us to enjoy his birthday. I also want to thank all of my family and friends who supported on the way and do so every day. Many of you were here today to share in the celebration. Those who weren't were severely missed but we understand.

The village is complete, 2 months in the making!

Today's guest list included, Mom, Dad, Sue, Gail, Carrie, Hanna, Sheree, Johnny, Paige, Christy, MK, Pat, Yvonne, Julie, Mark, Kimmie, Cory, Angee, KG, Flower, Angie and the kids, & Richardo. Thank you all!

After we all filled up on Tex's wonderful chili we went down stairs to enjoy Tristan opening his gifts. Thank you all for making Tristan's birthday a special one! Thanks to the kids who helped TJ in opening his gifts!
