Tristan's first Word!

Well, today was the day! We drove home from Tamarack and we were getting ready to go to a movie with mom & Lisa. Tex was going to stay home with Tristan because he did not want to see Hotel For Dogs (which was very cute). Tex was pouring some juice into a bottle and Tristan pointed at Tex and said "JUICE". Of course I started to cry and Tex just laughed! It was amazing!

Winter Carnival 2009

Patti, Tex, Tristan and I took a very impromptu trip to McCall for the Winter Carnival. It started last weekend and was finishing up this weekend. This was very cool considering I went completely nuts last weekend sitting around the house waiting on Tex after his surgery. It was actually his idea to drive up there. It was a beautiful weekend. So I threw Tristan in a back pack and Patti, Tasha, Tex, Tristan and I were off for a 2 hours walk through McCall looking at the amazing ice sculptures. Patti was amazed, she said she had never seen anything like it before in her life. the sun began to set and it began to get a bit cold so we packed it up and went to grab a bite to eat. After dinner we called Sue to see if we could stay the night at the town house, it was vacant so we were able to stay. Patti and I got in the hot tub underneath an amazing clear sky and full moon. It was so bright outside that you could have gone out to ski without any need for light. The stars were so clear and the sky was so bright!

The family photo ring is done!

Well, I finally got the family photo ring done. So Tristan and I are looking at pictures of all of you each night before bedtime. This was an idea that I stole from my sister in law Gail. You put family photos into baseball card holder and then drill a hole in them and put them all on a ring for the perfect little learning tool for families far and near! Thanks Auntie Gail!

Tex is home.

He got out of surgery about non and we just got home. He is doing well and is very sore of course. He will enjoy being babied for a while I'm sure. The hernia was only about the size of a quarter but the sac was the size of a silver dollar 9no wonder it hurt so much).

Tex's Hernia

Well, Tex is off to St Als to have his Hernia removed. He had is looked at about 10 days ago and figured it was time to get it taken care of. We had known that there was something up for some time but he never got it looked at. It has been very hard for him since his job is based of of lifting a number of things daily.

Sheree was so nice, she called me earlier in the week to see if she could help. She and Paige came over early this morning so I could take Tex in and not have to wake up Tristan. Thanks Sheree!

Now I am at home making some breakfast and all I am thinking of is my Husband. His Surgery is at 930 and it should only take 1/2 an hour. I am going to eat and then wake up Tristan so I can go to work and get some things done before he gets out. He is supposed to call me when I can pick him up. I will post later today with an update.

Pebble Tec Day!

So, today I awoke to a very loud truck outside my house so I new there was something big going on! Today is Pebble Tec Day. Pebble Tec is the new finish they are putting on our pool. It is going to be absolutely beautiful. You can't really tell here but the tent should be off next week and I can get some better pictures!
