Happy Mother's day!

This mother's day was spent first with my boys! I woke up to some beautiful gifts, nice cards and flowers.

In the afternoon we went to mom's to watch "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" as well as have dinner. We made meet patties, corn on the cob, and red potatoes.

It was a wonderful family day!

Hope all of yours was as great!

Oh, and this card was sent to my mom by my brother... dah, I am the favorite!
I will let him have the title for the day though, just because I love him!

A surprise for Lisa!

It has been a while since Lisa and I have gotten to do anything together so I decided to surprise her by taking her to the Lipizzaner Stallions. I did not tell he but I did call her and invite her to go out to dinner. We decided to go to PF Chang's for Chinese Food. The bad thing is we did not make reservations and it was prom night. As we walked out the door we saw they had take out. Lisa and I decided to get take out and go down to the Grove and have a picnic. As we were walking she says "did you know the Lipizzaner's are here"? I said, "no, you should have told me so we could have got tickets". Little did she now I already had tickets!

As we were eating I finally told her that we already had tickets, surprise! She was so happy!

I had never see these horses before. Lisa saw them once in Reno. They were simply amazing!

We had a wonderful night!

A morning at the market.

Saturday morning Sheree, Christy, and I were supposed to meet and go to the farmer's market down town. Christy was running the Race For The Cure and we were going to meet afterwords. Well, Christy was burnt out so she bailed so Sheree, TJ and I went to the Meridian Farmer's Market.

Tristan was not too interested in the clown, he will be before long I'm sure!

Honu!

Look Dad, TJ loves cherries!

How could I not think of you when we are eating cherries? We used to pick them from the tree in the back yard or get them at various markets! I can't wait tp share some with you and TJ next week in Hawaii! See you soon!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Does this not say it all?

The water was a chilly 62 degree's!

Outside temp 58.

So Sue, Kev and the kids came this weekend. They had not seen the pool yet and once they did all they wanted to do was to get in it. I have not been heating it during this cold spell for obvious reason's. The kids would just not quit asking so we said if you want to get in it you can but it is going to be cold! Well, here is the result!

Thank you Aunt Nita!

Last week I happened to be home when the mail man came buy. He had a large package from Virginia. I called mom to see if she new what it was? She said yes, have you opened it yet? I told her no and proceeded to open the package.

You all know how Tex collects things... Well, a few years ago we went to Virginia for Christmas. My Aunt remembered us talking about how Tex and I like the old style glasses that you could get at various fast food vendors. I can't believe that she remembered!

To my surprise when I opened the box there was an entire set of a variety of glasses.

Thanks you so much Aunt Nita, they are amazing!

My favorite glass... Miss Piggy of course because she was my favorite in The Muppets!

Tristans first time down the slide!

Tex had a game Friday night and it was at 630 at WL1. I thought how nice it would be to go early to let Tristan play at the little play ground for a while. This play ground is right in between field 1 -3. If you have ever been there it is more like a glorified babysitter than a nice playground. Parent drop their kids off there while they play and don't even watch them. I thought if we showed up early TJ could play before the game.

When we arrived, Brooklynn, (Cory's daughter) was there. Tristan has always had a thing for her, but she is a blond:) Brooklynn went down the slide and TJ was right behind her. Well, this is a new first. He went down the slide right after her without even stopping! He had so much fun! The unfortunate thing is that I didn't get many pictures because I was too busy chasing him around!
