It's Game day! BSU v TCU in the 39th annual Fiesta Bowl

It is game day and it is time to get my game face on! The vote for the Fiesta face was the checker board. Thanks Girls! I had not done the checker board in a long time and it is one of my favorites because it has a "perfect" look to it! So here it goes.

Time to catch the bus!

College Bowls biggest bash.

Guess what?

I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to

Geico...

WE ARE HERE...WE ARE HERE... WE ARE HERE!
At least that is what they said in Horton Hears a Who!

Christy and Ike drove in from a New Years in Vegas, they got a tail gate pass and invited us to tailgate. Christy even got me more fruity beverages. Thanks Christy & Ike!

Earlier in the year I had run out of face paint. When I went to check my supplies for game day I realized what I had bough was Wax. Good thing I brought a back up supply! Tex was not convinced to color his beard but I took it for Ike because I new he would be a gamer!

We heard that they were cooking "Horned Frog Legs" a couple rows over so I had to go check it out!

Tastes like chicken!

We ran into Gina!

And Elvis!

I snapped this picture of Tex while he was showing off his art work...

Not really!

The "hair" rivalry... I win!

We ran into the Martinez family!

Bring on the bands!

I love him & he has got to love me!

Here come our Bronco's!

The coin toss... BSU wins!

The kick off.

The kids in front of us who did not want to sit down at all, which is OK with me but the people behind us called security on them.

The Pick!

Score at half time.

Final seconds after the pick!

BSU WINS 2010 TOSTITOS FIESTA BOWL!

The Chant!

WHAT A NIGHT!
PROUD TO BE A BRONCO!
AGAIN!

Let's Fiesta!

So it is back from Tamarack and off to the Fiesta Bowl in Sunny Arizona! We drove home from Donnelly last night just in time to catch the plane at 10 am this morning! Boy am I ready. Kari is watching Tristan, so it is just Tex and I. We booked with Global so everything is included. It is a chartered plane and they will have buses on the tarmac when we arrive. We don't even have to go through the airport! That is how it was last time and it was totally worth the money. When we arrive we will check in and then it is off to the pep rally!

Do you think it is a coincidence that the plane is orange and blue?

The pep rally.

This would be my chiropractor... gotta love him!

Coach Pete w/ all the captains.

We decided to catch the shuttle to the Fox Grill. This is the bar that Channel 7 was broadcasting from. No broadcast tonight but the energy level was hi. I decided since we were on our own and now driving to have a fruity beverage. The Fox Hurricane to be exact... I had 2. Just when we were getting ready to leave I got a call from Christy. They were going to come meet us! Yea! Then they offered to take Tex to The Hard Rock in Phoenix which ended up being a story in itself!

School Pride at the Fox Grill

Before Christy and Ike came to pick us up they got directions to Hard Rock from their hotel. The person at the desk was not sure if it was still there or not but we headed there anyway. Apparently Christy was tired of navigating because she let Tex have the directions. The funny thing is, if you now Tex at all you would never let him navigate because he always gets lost. That's OK Christy, you did not know. Tex actually did a pretty decent job accept for one minor wrong turn but that made for a great lap on the 101: ) (right Mario?) Once we found the address given by the hotel there was no Hard Rock to be found. Christy then looked it up on her phone and found one in down town Phoenix so we were off! Remember, I already had 2 fruity beverages.

I was able to pull up a map on my phone from the closed Hard Rock to the one that was open down town. Once there it was time for some more fruity beverage! Yep... the fruitapoluza! I had 2 more. Needless to say I was getting a bit giggly. The ride home was quit interesting but blogging it just won't do it justice, you will just have to ask Christy about it.

Guitar's on the ceiling.

Fruitapoluza!

MMMMMMM

Look at those pretty lights.....

New Years Day 2010... can you believe it/

Matty started New Years Day off with his famous breakfast burritos. Tortilla's, eggs, churizo, cheese, beans, and what ever else you wanted to add. They were yummy! Thanks Matty!

Steve, Gail and the kids stopped by before they left for the airport. We tried to get some good pictures of the kids but these were the best we got!

Family photo of the Welter's before they left.

Breakfast round 2 for those who slept in.

Hot Totties anyone?

It snowed, and snowed, and snowed...
and we watched and watched and watched!

The boys went snowshoeing!

Dan brought them hot totties.

We played...

and played...

and Played.

I can't remember a happier family time!
