Michael Jackson's Immortal by: Cirque Du Soleil

So about a year ago I received a "pre-sale" email for The Immortal Michael Jackson show by cirque De Soleil coming in January. Knowing Tex does not buy a ticket to anything, I called my friend Dano to see if she would be interested in going. I told her I wanted to go and I thought that a year down the road we were going to wish we had bought these tickets. So it was then and there that we decided to attend. Boy am I glad that we did! This was one of the most spectacular shoes that I have ever seen. I would recommend it to anyone and would see it again in a heart beat. It was simply amazing!

We started the night out with dinner at Barbacoa.

My baby and me.

These were the only shots I could get inside.

Here are a couple of shots out of the program.

Chipwrecked

Since Monday was a holiday, Sheree, Paige, Lisa, Tristan, Hannah, & Sophie, and I all went to see Chipwrecked. It was pretty cute. I thought the girl chipmunks were super cute! We took the opportunity for a photo opp with Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.

Super Fun!

They almost missed it . . .

Can you believe it? We got just a dusting of snow before Mema, Lisa, and Zac left for Christmas. It wasn't much but it was enough to play in.

Tristan could hardly wait to get outside: )

On our way to the airport we stopped for lunch at Sizzler, Miss Lisa's request.
It was yummy!

Christmas 2011

Christmas was nothing short of amazing this year! After trying to Keep TJ at bay as long as I could, it was finally time to go down stairs to see what Santa had delivered. Tristan played with his toys from Santa until everyone was out of bed a ready to open gifts. As everyone settled in they saw that Santa had delivered stocking for all. As always Tristan began handing out gifts but it was not long before he we more interested in opening them. Handing them out became my job. Such a special day!

Hungry Hippos was the hot game of the year!

Oh, you can't forget Kirby's Tickle Hands : )

Then there was my cotton candy machine.... really...

Oh so good!

After opening gifts, it was time to head over to Eric's for dinner at 1:30. Funny thing is that, well we thought, the turkey was not ready. Eric was trying to get it to 180 degrees, but after a couple extra hours and a trip to Google we found it should have come out at 160 degrees. Good thing was it was still yummy!

Turns out that Zac had quit an eye for photography. I love this photo he took of Garrett's shoe's while he was sleeping!

What a young man Eric has become! Baby in hand an still cooking in the kitchen. Way to go "Martha" (inside joke).

Patty had a few too many drinks and she thought she could take G at a round of arm wrestling....
NOT!

Time for desert. Eric made this yummy, banana cream.

He and I also took a stab at a couple gluten free pie for old time sake.

After dinner, it was time to open gifts at Eric's families house!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas like our family.
We are so fortunate!

Thanks Zac for another favorite photo of the candy dish!
