Journey & Loverboy 2012

We have had tickets to Journey for months now. The concert was to be held at the Idaho Center Amphitheatre. I love outdoor concerts there. They are so fun! We headed out to Dani and Tommy's for a "bite" to eat, then it was off to the show. Dani was able to find a sitter for TJ and Bug so we took Hanna to the show, little did I know this was her very first concert! What a show!

We saw Journey here a few years ago and they were so great I would see them any time they came. Today did not disappoint!

     I remember not so long ago a great friend of mine being very nervous and excited to go pick up her new found love from the airport. Who would have know that since that day they would fall deaply in love, share one's life, join two families, and share it all with us! So happy for you Jamie and Charlie! Life is too short not to fall in love with your best friend! Be good to each other!

Y Not Tri 2012

This year I was not planning on running the Y Not Tri as, ironically, the distance is rather short. As I looked at my training schedule I did see the I was scheduled to run that distance as a training day so I figured... why would I not race? 

This is also the first time I ran the race without my sister. I missed her terribly : )

My hubby was not going to come as this race was so short but I am so happy they came. Turned out to be a fabulous night and I was very thankful to share it with him.

Out of the water... pond was not too bad today : )

 Tristan took all of these pictures in T1.

So, when I first looked at the times from last year I was listed as 1:03 + 27. I was under the impression that the total of the two were my time. So imagine how excited I was when I broke an hour! I was on such a high. Well, even though 6 minutes is not 29, still had a hell of a race and gave it my all! I really pushed myself on this race. The sprints are so fun in that respect! Another great day!
