Happy Valentine's Day

Today began as a very busy day. Tristan and I went to deliver all of our Valentine's to those who were close. We got so busy that the only one I got a picture of was Grandma. Tristan picket out a fake rose that actually smelled like a rose. Grandma loved it.

My Valentine was perfect. Lillie's, a beautiful candle holder, A Halloween Village figure, and a bottle of wine.

Tristan hit the jackpot at school, he came home with a bag full of goodies.

We also received a super cute e-mail card from Juannie. Loved them!

What a wonderful day!

Sorry to all of the extended family that we did not get messages to. we love you all.

Super Bowl 47 San Fransisco 31 vs Baltimore 34

Well, today is a pretty big day. As many of you know I am a die hard 49er fan. We had planned to have a family dinner today even before the 49ers were in the game but this worked out even better. We started out with an afternoon ham dinner before the game. We figured by half time we would be ready for snacks.

Mom, Lisa, Patti, Tex, Garrett, Hanna, TJ, and I enjoyed a family dinner together. Of course there was smack talk going on all day. Dinner was fabulous!

Doug, Lisa, and their daughter joined us for the game but I was so into the game I forgot to take pictures : )

As well all now know the first half of the game was not that great. By half time we had the snacks ready to go. Hopefully Kapernick would turn things around.

The second half of the game was much better. Almost thought that San Fran was going to come back but to no avail. Not like they did not have the opportunity.

Tasha was not to impressed with the game either, Tex was super nice... he did not even through it in my face.

NEXT YEAR DAMN IT!

The Cowboy Rides Away

Dano and I have had ticket to George for some time. Super excited for this show as it is his last one. Martina McBride opened for him They were both great. Mom was supposed to go with us but she was not feeling well. Patti came with us and don't ask me why but I didn't even get a picture of all of us. Silly Me! Thanks for a great night girls!

My favorite George Strait song, ever!
I have danced with many a cute cowboys to this song...
Sorry honey : )

Another fabulous night with my girls!

Blue Lion Basketball - Crazy Hair Day!

OK, I won't do this every week but you all have to see it once. Good thing my batteries died last week because I cried during the entire thing : )

A little bit of pre-game practice.

A little high light real...

Today is week 2 of Blue Lion Basketball! Also know as Crazy Hair Day! We hooked up TJ by grouping together his twists. I was going to wear my blue and orange wig but didn't as Sissy has a game right after TJ and I did not want to embarrass her.

It was great to see the McFadden's. Life has got in the way of seeing each other much. Amazing how big little miss Hannah has gotten. She was being a bit camera shy : )

TJ was a little out of focus this week. He did make another shot though and got a nice high five from the coach! At the end of the game TJ took a ball in the mouth and got a bit of a fat lip. He did really good at not crying until the game was over. Then the tears were on. Another great week! Way to go Blue Lions!

Great job Blue Lions!

After Tristan's game we had to head out to make Hanna's District game. They were playing Eagle at Centennial. Borah was not able to pull this one out. We were only able to see Hanna in the final 11 seconds so not many pictures. Tough loss Lions.

Borah vs Rocky Mountain

We do not make it to nearly enough of Hanna's games but tonight we made it a family affair. Lisa, Patti, Garrett, TJ, Tex, and I all went down to see if Hanna and her team could pull off an upset, but tonight it was not meant to be. After nearly regaining a 20 point deficit, Borah lost by 6 points. One great game thought!

Auntie Patti falling asleep after the red eye... night, night.

Stuck 3 point attempt.

That is our girl... nice tackle: )

Upwards Basketball

Today was Tristan first organized sporting event.  We registered him in Upwards Basketball. Many years ago I went to watch Hannah and Blake McFadden play here and I was so impressed that I new someday my kids would play here. Well today was that day.

They start the game with individual introductions... yes, at 5 years old. Bad news was, I showed up with a camera that had dead batteries. I will video that in weeks to come. Good news was, Tex brought his IPAD so we got these pictures.

Scott was at the game~ so good to see him!

Tristan's very first shot! And yes, he made it!

Afterwords... during the game, I might add, Tristan runs over to us and says, "I made it Mommy, did you see" I could not be more proud!

OK, this is super funny. Each child plays 3 periods, so they actually sit for three as well. Take a look at the left side of the bench...

He's got Skills...
