Tristan's first day of Daycare/Preschool

Tex and I have been looking for a daycare/preschool to enroll Tristan in for a couple of months. We feel it is very important for him to familiarize himself with other children his age. Well, we found one. A Kids Kastle. They have been in business for 11 years and not only are they on our way to work, they also have a great curriculum starting children at 2 years old. I am very sad and very excited. I think this will be so good for him!

Today he did pretty good. He did not notice me leave which was great for me but I began to cry on my way to the gym. I literally had to tell myself to get it together while I was driving down the road. I missed him all day! I picked him up at 4 pm. they said he did great all day. He only had one potty accident when he woke up from his nap but when the other parents started picking up their kids he got a little upset, like where is my mommy and daddy? When I showed up he was so excited!

Tomorrow is day two and Tex drops him off... Thank God!

Happy Birthday Mom!

I am so blessed to have you in my life. You have helped mold me into who I am today and I could not have a better role model. You are my best friend, and I can share anything with you... Thank you for being you!

I Love you!

Happy Easter & Happy Birthday Garrett!

Wow, this has been one of the best holiday's I have had in a long time! Lot's of quality family time, great food, no fuss! It started out early this morning, about 230 to be exact, when I asked Garrett to go to bed so I could play Easter Bunny! I delivered all of the baskets then settled into bed just in time for Tristan to wake up to go potty. At least he woke up! Tristan was up and down for a bit so Tex took him a slept in his room so I could get some sleep. That was very nice!

Tex's basket.

Hanna & Garrett's basket/bag.

TJ's basket.

Don't let the sunshine fool you... It was so cold, but it was dry!

Time for sidewalk chalk.

We were waiting for mom to do the egg hunt. I called her at 11 to see if she was up and she was nit. She had a rough night of sleep and decided not to come so we turned Tristan loose. He was all over it!

Today we prepared a beautiful feast for the rising of our Lord. We celebrated as a family. We shared our meal on Tex's great, great Grandmother's china. It is the first time we have used it since we brought it home 5 years ago. Garrett said the sweetest blessing! It was so cute! I won't try to repeat it because it just would not be the same.

Our family...
Lynnette, Tex, Lisa, Garrett,, Hanna, &
TJ.

Garrett singing in the shower.
Love it, the smile at the end is beautiful!

When I left to take Lisa to work I was greeted by this cute little chocolate rabbit driving my truck!

After I dropped Lisa off, it was time to go see Grandma. The Easter Bunny stopped by our house for her and I took her some dinner. Mom was not feeling well so we did not stay for long.

One last Hawaiian treat from my hubby.

MMM, chocolate covered mac nuts, my favorite!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Birthday dinners....

With Easter fast approaching, so are two birthdays. Garrett's is tomorrow, and mom's is Monday. Since we are going to be busy with Easter we decided to celebrate tonight by going out to dinner at Red Lobster. Boy was it great! I had also asked Kari to make a cake which I picked up earlier today and it was even better! Cal, Jenn and the kids brought Garret as he stayed with them while we were out of town. Come to find out when I "quizzed" Garrett on the "foam" in the hot tub, we soon found out that Garrett was supposed to be spending the night at a friends house and Jenn then realized he was lying... needless to say he was in a little hot water with his Aunt.

When we got home Tristan wanted to sit in the truck and listen to his CD. I took this time upon myself to start cleaning up my section of the garage. After an hour or so it was time to put Tristan to bed. Lisa and I went inside and I realized we had not dyed eggs yet. So it was time to dye the eggs. It was a family affair. It was so nice for everyone to take part. I love when we have days like that!

Garrett, Tex, and Hanna all decided to test the eggs by eating one each. They all shared with Tristan!

I did not think of getting a picture of the garage before I started. This was well on my way to having all of the camping gear moved. Lisa took my picture after we were done. She helped me a bunch! It was a very fun night!

Aunti Kari got these for Tristan for tomorrow. I hope the weather is not bad enough that we can't do the egg hunt outside.

Happy Easter everyone!
