Great friends have arrived!

I have been anticipating this week for months. The Niederer's are back. I was blessed last weekend with Suzette here helping me with my recovery but this week it is the whole family. They were only supposed to be here for the weekend but we talked them into staying for the June 30th 12:01 am showing of Eclipse So we have almost an entire week! I am so lucky to have such great friends!

Today we did not do much but hang by the pool, the kids had a blast. Unfortunately the heater is still broken. I would love for any of the pool companies in the valley to follow through on their customer service. So far the two top servicing departments have failed on their customer service and follow through! Thank God it was warm enough to swim!

The Hawks were having fireworks so we headed out for the rim for a fun night with the kids!

Twinkies anyone?

I love when the Niederer's are here!

Good luck G - Man!

Garrett has been spending quit a bit of time at his Aunt's this week. His mom is out of jail and came down to Boise for their step dad's funeral. Garrett has decided to live with his Aunt Jen and Uncle Cal here in Boise. I am very happy that Garrett is making some decisions to move forward with his education, I am also very happy that he is staying here in Boise even if it is not with us. Cal and Jen are great people and maybe they will have a different approach in helping Garrett succeed!

Do a litlle dance..

The Choo choo dance.

The journey continues...

Well, my recovery is going well! I figured what better time to add to my tattoo than when I was laid up from surgery. About 10 days ago I made an appointment to add my 'family" of Honu to my tattoo. I met Kalani at the gym, he works at Ink Spot Tattoo on Broadway. He did the tattoo on my trainer and I wanted to have him work on my Honu!

I was not in Hawaii but I was wishing I was!

So, the first 2 1/2 hours was "mostly annoying" (right Patti), but that last 1/2 hour SUCKED! But boy was I ecstatic with the finished product! Thanks Kalani!

A day for my Love,

Father's day started off great. We were able to sleep in a bit today. Then Tex began collecting his gifts. Cards, books, gadgets, and memories. Then we were off to get Hanna.

I had his baseball uniform framed from when he was a little boy, he loved it!

Tex wanted to go get rock for his path along the side of the house.
The kids were enthusiastic!

We all went out to dinner at The Olive Garden. I was really worried at first since I could not eat but I had their chicken and noche soup and it was great!

As Suzette and I got home, there were a ton of police on the corner. Turns out a guys pulled a gun out when his ex wife tried to pick up the kids a couple blocks over so they called the Calvary. Suzette and I sat out front and watched it all unfold. It was just like old times!

All in all, super great father's day!

Happy Father's Day Daddy; wish I could have been there!

Hello All-
Just thought you would enjoy these photos taken today at the beach. Patti invited us to the beach and it was Len's first snorkel since the accident. "back in the saddle again"
Hope all the rest of you fathers out there had as great a day as we had. Thanks Patti!
