Full Moon Setting & King Kamehameha Beach

      Today Tristan and I woke up to a very cool sight, the full moon had not set yet and the sun had already begun to rise. It was amazingly beautiful! After a dip in the hot tub with coffee in hand we got ready for the day and headed for the beach. Today we hit the King Kam Beach in town. Auntie Patti met us there and TJ made some friends so it gave us some time to catch up! Guess what? After we left the beach we went and got shave ice : )

 

Hawi & Keokea Beach

     Today we packed another lunch, took a trip to Hawi (otherwise known as the Ironman turnaround point), and hit another beach. What a wonderful day. I love to watch Tristan play in the sand and explore the Hawaiian coast.

     We found a super great BBQ shack on the side of the road in Hawi so we decided to save our packed lunch and have some BBQ. TG was the only one who almost finished his plate. He loved the BBQ pork. Must be his southern attitude: )

     After lunch we toured some quaint little shops then headed to the beach! Keokea Beach was a bit different. There was a man made, rock wall because of the high surf. This allows beach goers to get in the water. Tristan was more interested in climbing the rock wall today and watching the local boogie boarders. Another fabulous day in paradise!

 

Kaloko - Honokohau Beach

     This trip is all about spending time together and about finding new things. We found this great new beach not far from Kona. It is actually a National Park. There were so many turtles that we just quit counting! Plenty of shade where we enjoyed a picnic then played in the sand!

 

Hawaii Day 1

      After a long flight we made it, slept in, then headed to the beach! No agenda! I watched Tristan play for an hour or so before we headed for some shave ice! Meanwhile Tex did some shopping. After the beach we did a little shopping then watched some football!

 

Merry Christmas One & All!

Today is sure to be a special one for so many reasons, there are surprises in store for all, one special one for my husband. We have been through a lot the past few months, more than some marriages can withstand but once again we have done it! I am so lucky to have such a special man in my life!
