Let's Fiesta in Paradise

This is a view of our hotel from across the street. We were in the building on the left. I began this day with a fabulous seaweed and honey scrub followed by a fabulous massage at the hotel spa. A little me time : )

Tex walked out to the pier to snap a few shots of his favorite Banion tree and the sunset.

Kick off 3:30... 2013 Fiesta Bowl Kansas State vs Oregon. Let's go K - State!

TJ got his own umbrella!

So did I : )

Tex has arrived!
Fruity beverage #2.
Oh my!

Needless to say, I had a bit of a buzz going on, so much so I decided to go for a late swim.
The water was surprisingly pleasant.

Fun with my Ohana

Each morning we awoke to the chant of the canoe's heading out to sea. The view was amazing!

For lunch today, Tex chose Bubba Gump's. Not something I would normally pick but lunch was amazing! Tristan loved his boat that his lunch came in. I loved spending time with my family, sipping my fruity beverage while watching the waves roll in!

And it is back to the beach!

Considering we have been going to Shave Ice every day, I thought we should get a few photo's of it.
For years this has been my favorite shave ice stand. Now I am fortunate enough to share it with my little man!

Everyday, on our way back to the hotel, TJ loved to walk the wall along the pier.

We capped this night off with a dinner at The Kona Inn, one of our favorite family restaurants. I have so many memories here over the past 25 years! Now I have new memories with my family!

TJ was so tired he could not even make it through dinner.

Tex and I got dinner and shared it, I got ono, and he got Mahi Mahi.

Another fabulous day in paradise!

King Kamehameha Hotel

Today we checked into the King Kam because Auntie Pattie had guests and Dad and Sue had guests coming in as well. What a different experience this has offered us. We were originally planning on going up to the volcano but since our daily routine is going to the beach, then to shave ice we decided to get a room right down town. What a spectacular idea. This choice allowed Tex some time to relax and allowed Tristan and I to come and go as we pleased.

The view from our room.

Lava Java, pool & Beach

Pretty low key day today. Had breakfast at my favorite place... any one who has been here with me has spent plenty of time at Lava Java. The food and drink are great, the view is even better. Many laughs and tears have unfolded here with many of you! I cherish every memory!

You know, when I was younger my Dad was in charge of opening the coconuts. I remember it taking him a few minutes. Well, since Dad and Sue are in Cabo I decided to give it a shot. I started yesterday. It got so annoying that Tristan and I gave up. Today was a new day!

My helper.

FINALLY!

Time to try it out.

TJ was not a fan : (
That's OK, the experience was worth every second!

Time to go swimming.

Back to the beach even though it is raining : )

We capped off the evening by watching the waves roll in as the sunset.
15-20 footers.
Winter swell has arrived!
