Iceland Day 4 discovering the city.

We started out the day with room service for breakfast. Then we all headed out to explore the city. We walked the main road and shopped. We then headed up to the church to take a trip to the top of the bell tower. On our way down we stopped at a wonderful Crapery. Oh my goodness it was so good! Since we were not up to another Jeep ride, Tristan, Tex and I decided to go on our own Northern Lights tour.

Iceland Day 3 Headed to Reykjavik for a Super Jeep Tour

After a wonderful day yesterday we took advantage of a later check out. It seems that since the sun does not wake up early we don't want to either. I took advantage of taking some photos from around the grounds of the hotel. The geothermal in the area is really amazing and beautiful.

Ingvar gave us a recommendation for a local bakery in town. He said "it was the best in Iceland". Needless to say it did not disappoint.

Tonight was for Tex... a trip to the new Hard Rock Cafe.

Tonight is round 2 with Super Jeep, Ingvar is back and "The Hunt Is On"

We headed towards The Blue Lagoon and the airport but there were quit a few clouds tonight. The wind was howling and they treated us to hot cocoa and some local vodka. We didn't get much for lights tonight but the trip was still fun. I do think the kids are dome riding in jeeps though.

Ingvar also refered us to this local hot dog stand which Kim Kardashian had recently visited. It has been there for 17 years and became a nightly treat for Paige .
