Next visit Dakota Wesleyan University

 Next visit Dakota Wesleyan University. Today looked a bit different. There were about 25 recruits and their families to meet the coaching staff, tour the school, attend position meetings and attend the spring game. Coach Kretzschmar and his coaching staff made us feel very welcome. Another great experience in the recruiting process. It was nice to meet some other families going through the same process. 

After the Spring Game we toured The Corn Palace, found a cute cupcake shop, and had a great dinner. We capped the night off with a swim.

 

 

The tour of the Dakota's, first up Dickinson State University home of the Bluehawks

The tour of the Dakota’s. This weekend we are visiting both North and South Dakota. North Dakota brought us to Dickinson State University home of the Blue Hawks. Coach Masterson and Coach Mikewski gave us a tour of the stadium and the campus. Tristan got to meet with head Coach Stanton as well as the offensive coordinator Coach McCarvel. Having Tristan’s #8 jersey ready for him to wear was a nice touch. The coaching staff truly was so welcoming and you can really feel the family culture with the entire staff. We loved the campus, the rich history, this year they are celebrating 100 years of football. The Blue Hawks have a winning history and are moving into a new Conference this year. Needless to say Tristan enjoyed the visit very much, as a family our minds were set at ease that he would be taken care of here.
