Day trip to Sandpoint

Saturday we had a day to play so we all loaded into one car and headed for Sandpoint. We did a bit of shopping and eat at this little place called The Dive. I sweat it was a bar but it said family friendly. Did I mention i think it was a bar? It was during the day though.





After some shopping and lunch we headed down to the beach to let the kids play and to try to catch a ride on the boat on Lake Pend Oreille. The boat ride was a 90 minute ride with a history of the area. Needless to say, Tristan fell asleep right away, glad they did not charge us for him!









After the boat ride we headed back to Hayden where we met the newly weds for dinner and drinks. I thought the occasion was worthy enough to have a fruity beverage. Yummy! It was nice to get to spend some time with them before they left for their road trip. Have fun guys!




So the waiter asked if we wanted desert and we all said "no", then he brings us a desert that was made by accident. It was a donut type of food with three different sauces, chocolate, raspberry, and butterscotch. It was devine! Paige could hardly stop eating it!





After dinner Paige wanted to go swimming and it was a bit deep for TJ so to save the fight Tex, TJ and I went for a drive. It was just dusk so it was prime time to see deer and even wild turkeys. Tex love to drive around and explore new area's!
