The fire pit was right by Starbucks, the place was awesome! The walls were literally 3 foot logs laid side by side. It was the coolest Starbucks I have ever seen!
Love it!

Friday night ended up being the night to tie one on. I decided to open a bottle of wine and after strategizing what night would be best to tie one on, Christy quickly decided that there was no time like the present... so be it! A fun time was had by all!
with 4 glasses of wine : )
Talk about a busy Saturday... we were not done yet... after the run we woke up the kids to head to the pool at the Inn. The pool was awesome! 10' in the center and 5' around the edge with a bench that went around the entire circle. It was great! The kids loved it and so did we. Sheree bought the kids these cute little fish that you could fill with water and squirt each other. This was Tristan's favorite part of the day. Thanks Sheree! Oh, and obviously the pool was heated : )
Sunday was meant for Skiing. We were right, what a beautiful day!
So, TJ, Tex and I headed up the hill. The very first run proved to be too much for the little guy. This run was 4 - 5 times as long as what TJ was used to and a bit steeper too. Not to long after getting of the chair TJ and I took a pretty nasty spill. Both of us blew a ski and Tj was crying... "I'm sorry mommy, I did not mean to make you fall". Oh, my heart sank. This became a good time for the "once you fall you need to get back up" speech. That did not make me feel any better though. Tristan then decided he was done. I was pertified. I think I scared him for life. I ended up carrying him 1/2 way down the run. Once he quit crying I settled his ski's on the snow and he began to ski. I was even able to let him out on the harness a bit. But that was it for TJ, it was back to the lodge for him.
Once at the lodge we got him warmed up and he wanted to pose in front of the fire place. Once he warmed up it was time for some lunch.

Sheree and I decided to head out for a few runs while Tex watched TJ in the lodge. She took me to the top and the view was simply amazing! The runs were a little crusty but got better as we got off the ridge.

I can't wait to come back when we can venture off some more.
Before we headed out, Ike was going to take one more trip up the mountain. Christy had had a pretty nasty spill earlier in the day so we decided to ride the Gondola up with Ike. It took a little work to get TJ there but once he was convinced he did not have to ski down he was ok... OMG, I hope I have not scared him to death!
He ended up loving the ride!

Another fabulous weekend with our family and great friends!
