"We had a a lot of laughs in the kitchen with Christos (when we were patient) and a great meal at his restaurant. The ancient center of Megalochori is charming, as is the cooking terrace/restaurant.
We learned to make our favorites: pastitsio/pasta with meat sauce and bechamel, tomato fritters, Greek salad and tzatziki."
Today might have been one of my favorite cooking days! It was beautiful, it was immersive, it was full of joy, laughter, fun, great food and great friends! We made Tzatziki, tomato fritters,
Greek Salad, and a traditional Greek dish, pasta with meat sause and
bechamel. It was kind of like an alfredo lasagna. Not only was it a joy
to make it was also amazing to eat! Nestled in the open air venue with
lovely Greek views in the quaint little village of Megalochori.
We capped off the day with a roof top swim in Sheree's pool.
What could be better!
