"And down to Santorini for some beach time! Started off with a traditional family tavern dinner with tzatziki, spanakopita/spinach pie, Santorini salad, dolmas/rice-stuffed grape leaves, moussaka/beef casserole with eggplant and potatoes, grilled fish, and stifado/stewed beef.
The welcome drink was a little glass of ouzo and cranberry juice. It tastes better than you might think!
And dessert is something easy to make at home and so tasty: Greek yogurt with a honey drizzle. And for an added flare: a dollop of their mom’s caramelized grapes. (Not sure where you get the latter but now i have a mission!)
Then a morning boat ride and the weather was our friend! The sea is still at winter temps (~70) but the Idahoans weren’t afraid."

It is time to head to Santorini! A quick breakfast before we leave the 360 and then it's off to the airport for a quick 35 minute ride to what we would soon realize is a beautiful Greek coastline.
After we settled into our room at The Blue Wave Hotel we walked across the street to The Captain's Corner and some amazing traditional favorites, Greeks salad, Tzatziki, and Moussaka for the main course.
This food is amazing and Tzatziki might be my new favorite!
