Santorini by sea

Today we see Santorini by boat with opportunities to swim, relax, and eat. Wat could be better?
We saw the white capped mountain towns, the red, the white, and the black sand beaches. All the elements from the eruption 3000 years ago. It started out as an overcast day but shaped up to be a beautiful day. Which is awesome because Lynette swapped the day later in the trip as there was weather in the forecast for the originally scheduled day.

There were 3 swimming spots and the water was a cool 70 degrees. A bit brisk at first but lovely once you acclimated.

We swam in the center of the caldera which is where the hot pots are. Funny moment when the boat pulled away to relocate for incoming boats and we were still in the water.
the lunch on board was fantastic! Grilled chicken, cooked right on the boat, spaghetti will local tomato sauce, Greek salad and yes Tzatziki!

The ride back along the coast was simply stunning!

Once we got back to the hotel Sheree invited us all up for a swim on her roof top deck. Man, what a view! There was more wine and we all brought snacks to share.

Later in the evening we headed to Poco Loco for some yummy pizza to share.

"Pizza Tiiiiime!
