My boys....
Earlier this week I returned home to find my two favorite boys having a nap. It was such a great experience to come home and see both of them so content! Tex is so happy and so at peace. He is such a great father! I love sharing this experience with him.
Being a mother is so everything I wanted it to be. I am so happy that Tex insisted on wanting an infant. It has only been five months and I feel like I have experienced so much. I feel like Tristan was just waiting for us to get ready. He knew that we were going to be his parents!
WE ARE SO BLESSED!

Birthdays
Today there are two birthdays in our family. Colin, is Tristan's cousin. He lives in California. I here that he has become a huge Sharks fan! What Colin does not know is that My mom and dad were going to drive me down there for a surprise visit until my dad got a jury duty summons! I was so sad! He did not get released until Wednesday so that would be a long drive! I hope you have a great birthday Colin and I will meet you soon!
The other birthday is my brother Jr. He lives in Texas. I have not met him yet either but I sure can't wait! My mommy & Daddy told me that they thought he was going to come visit a few weeks ago but it must have not worked out. I hope it does soon!
Happy Birthday Colin and JR!

Going Bannanas
This is my favorite picture of Tristan right now. Angee took it at our shower last weekend. She has this camera that you can select one color and the rest is in black and white. I love it!
Today Tristan got to eat bananas, the first taste was rather interesting, he made all kinds of funny faces but once he got started there was no stopping! I can feel him getting bigger with every bite!

TJ is 5 months old!
Well, I took Tristan to the doctor today. He is in the 90%tile for his age! 18lbs 9 oz, and I no longer have back pain! Why because I pack him around all day:) Not only was it his birthday but our friend Johny turned 40 today too so we spent the evening with a number of friends like Sheree, Christy, and Jules! It was nice to see everyone. I am so excited to start playing softball again!

Getting Started...
Well, I am just getting started! One of my good friends has a blog and I decided what a great way to share our journey with family and friends. Since our family is spread from Virginia to Hawaii and everywhere in between it is perfect.
Five moths ago I was in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico weith my sister Patti and five month ago our son Tristan was coming into this world! It is crazy how time flies! Over the past few months we went to Georgia to pick Tristan up and bring him home. Then it was off to Hawaii to visit Grandma and Grandpa for Thanksgiving. While we were there we stoped off on Oahu to see the BSU vs Hawaii football game. After a great holiday on the beach we headed home. We weren't home for four days before we left for Las Vegas for a softball tounament. Tristan had more frequent flier miles than I did:0
Finally it was time to get ready for Christmas! Our first Christmas together was shared by Grandma Barb, Auntie Lisa, Hanna, Dad and me. It was so special! Still pretty quite. I can't wait until next year when Tristan tears into his gift!
Finally time to slow down and get settled. We settled into a schedule and now it is five months later. My how time flies! Being a mother is everything I have wanted it to be. Tex is so great! He is such a loving father. I could not have a better man to share this experience with. Tristan is such a great baby! We have had many firsts, the first laugh, finding his feet, holding toys, responding to us! I can't wait for the rest! But I will.
I want to thank all my family and friends for being so supportive! It has been a heck of a ride! We are so blessed!
