Do you wanna get Rocked...

When I saw this concert was on Heather's Birthday I new it was going to be a girls night out. The sad park of my night was that I forgot Sheree : ( I'm so sorry Sheree.

The festivities began at Twigs for appetizers and cocktails. Once Dani joined us we were off.
We made it to the arena a bit late but still caught a bit of Tesla. RIO Speedwagon followed and each band got a bit better and better. By the time Def Leopard hit the stage we were rockin and I mean rockin! We danced for 2 hours straight to all of the hits!
It has been a while since I rocked like this! Evan longer than that with my girls. I love you all so much! You have all played such a pivital roll in my life which really made me even more sad that I forgot Sheree. Could you forgive me?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY H!

Fasmily Fun at the Fair

Today Tex asked us if we wanted to go to the fair. Of course we said yes. Sad part is I did not get any pictures with my love today. He is not much into rides and Tristan was all about the rides today. Super fun day and I loved that Tex wanted to get out of the house.
Thanks boys!

Oh, and did I mention that Tristan rode The Zipper BY HIMSELF!
CRAZY!

Friday Night Lights

One of my favorite nights with Upwards is Friday Night Lights. I loved that tonight was Tristan's night to lead the team out of the tunnel! It was still a rough week for the Rams with a 12 - 18 loss but they played much better this week! Your time will come Rams!

Cyndi Lauper

Well, this night ended up being a bit short for us. As Tristan and I headed out to meet the girls I was literally calling Sheree to see if I needed a tarp and the rain began to pour. Tristan had a bit of a nap as we headed out across town and by the time we arrived to the field the rain had subsided a bit. We packed in all our rain gear and planned to weather the storm. One thing I love about Outlaw Field is that you can bring in your own cooler's. We all had our own snack and brought enough to share. As the open act began to play a few drops started to fall. Tristan was being a trooper and once Cyndi hit the stage it really began to rain. We tried to hold out but with an 8 year old he got cold quick. The rain just became too much so we headed out. I was a bit bummed that we missed a few of her hits but the girls still got it!

Another great night with great friend!

Upwards Game 2

So, though these guys don't have a winning record Tristan is having a stellar year! He is all over the place. Touchdowns, interceptions, flag pulls,  helping the other kids that are not quit as far along. I could not be more proud. Laying the foundation!
