We are back from Texas!

Tex, Tristan and I left last Wednesday to see his mom, sister, son, and nephew in Houston, Texas. None of them had met Trista yet so it was very exciting! When we arrived Lisa and Zac were already there.

Thanksgiving day we all chipped it to help with dinner. It was yummy! We all have so many things to be thankful for that I can not even begin to describe how special the day was!

We went shopping on black Friday!

Saturday we went to Pappacitos! Pappacitos is a Mexican Restaurant that my Chiropractor told me about a couple of years ago. He went to school down there and told me about this place that has the BEST Shrimp Fajitas. You have no idea, they are the BEST! A few weeks ago he posted on his blog some photo's of him and his family in Texas at Pappacitos and I almost died. I was so excited when we found out we were going to Texas for Thanksgiving because then we could go! And oh was it good!

Lawrence Jr., our oldest son.

Lisa, Mima, & Zac

Live Guacamole!

Tristan loved it!

I LOVED IT!

WE ALL LOVED IT

Tristan could not leave Zac alone it was so cute. There was one morning when Mima was feeding Tristan and Zac left the room. Tristan could not decide if he wanted to continue to eat the food Mima had or to follow Zac out of the room, he was so torn. It was priceless!

Saturday we went shopping again. We went to a mall this time. After shopping we went to look at Christmas lights, the sad thing was the good one's would not be out for two more weeks : (

We had such a wonderful time seeing the family. We also found out that JR is coming for Christmas so we are very excited to spend some more time with him here!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, it is Friday but still Thanksgiving weekend and as we all celebrate and give thanks I am especially grateful for my husband, Len and all of our six children, 10 grandchildren, sisters, brothers and dear friends.
As Len and I were rushing out the door on Wednesday yet again, I looked over at my husband and said "boy, we just keep going and going". His response was "It could be a lot worse and everyday gets better and better". Amen to that Leonardo.
May your holiday be happy and full of wonderful things.
Love and Aloha,
Sue and Len

A long drive!

So, Tristan woke up at 645 this morning so Tex and I decided to go to breakfast. There was a beautiful fog out this morning so Tex and I went back to the house to get my new camera (A Canon Rebel), to drive out to Lucky Peak to take some photo's. This was the beginning of one long day!

After leaving the lake, Tex wanted to drive out to the boat doc on the other side of the dam it was so beautiful out we decided to keep driving.

We saw some antelope.

Little did I know that the road turns to dirt and your can drive, and drive, and drive. We saw lots of people fishing and hunting.

We found this cave right next to the road and you know me... I had to climb up to see what was inside. I am the little blue dot : )

I MADE IT!!!!!!!!

Tristan thought it was fun.

It did not go any ware : (

There were lots of caves.

We found hot springs.

We came up to Arrow Rock Dam

And finally, Atlanta. The bad news was, we thought we could get out to Highway 21 but to no avail. The locals told us to go back the way we came. We did not want to do that so we kept asking. We finally found someone who told us how to get out of the forest on service roads. We then made our way to Idaho City were we had super.

This was a wonderful day with the family! We had so much fun and Tristan was great! It was a great day!
