Please welcome Koa

It took a bit of time after we lost our dear little Buddie but we finally found the boy to fill his shoes. This beautiful little boy came from Double R Doodles in Illinois. He is a Minni Aussie Doodle. We chose a Minni Aussie Doodle because Tristan is allergic so we really needed the doodle. We looked for months in at the humane society but no luck. Then we found this little guys on line. To say I was just a tiny bit nervous about finding a puppy all across the US is a minor statement but Double R Doodles made it very easy. After talking to my Aunt Nita about shipping a dog across the country I was OK but when it came to shipping day I was so nervous. We went first to arrivals and then they sent us to cargo. Once the plane had arrived we patiently waited for this little guy. Ironically the first one he took to was Tex. The bond was now inseparable. Our family is now complete.

CBW Christmas Party

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful staff. Every year we try to do something new and this year was no exception we headed to Northern Lights Cinema for a little Pirates Plunder. This was a group building themed Christmas party that everyone could partake in. We even had our token Pirate who made the whole night. The even began with a wonderful catered dinner and ended with a little white elephant gift exchange.

Life is good.

Merry Christmas

Well, since we just got back from Florida Christmas was going to be low key this year. We serve Thanksgiving dinner so it was going to be a movie for us. We shared the morning with our family, Mom, Lisa, Hanna and Garrett. I could not imagine it any other way! There are others that were missing and they are always missed but any time I am able to spend time with family is special.
Hope your holiday ws wonderful!

Universal Studios

Universal was our last day and we new it was going to be a big day! Tex had been a trooper all week and decided to break early. We had all done a few of the 3D rides together and then Johnnie dumped us for the roller coasters and Sheree, Paige Tristan and I worked our way through the park. Once we settled in to have a bite to eat Tex found us. The 3D rides seemed to give me a little grief so we sent the kids off on roller coasters by themselves... do parents do that? If this is just the beginning of children leaving the nest then I am in big trouble. Once we made it to Harry Potter World it was all over for me that is the last 3D ride I will go on for a while. Tex decided to go off on his own again for a bit and we had not seen Johnnie yet so the kids wanted to do more roller coaster. They road these two dragon roller coaster a few times. When they were done we mingled with The Transformers and Sheree and I even ducked off for a little sneak peek with a Minon and his "creepy" friend; ).
After a visit with Shrek and a couple more 3 D' go rounds with the TJ & the Z-W's it was off to find Tex and eat at Cowfish... Cowfish is the restaurant Sheree wanted to take me to for my birthday but they were delay that night so tonight it was. After a cranky re introduction with my hubby (because he was waiting so long) we all settled in with a couple cocktails and all was good! The entire day was spectacular, dinner was even better and the best, the absolute best, was when we left Cowfish and Tex had a moment of weakness re enacting a scene from ELF... I won't try to explain it but for those that were there it will never be forgotten! All I have to say is....
SANTA... SANTA'S HERE?
Man I love my husband!
I could not have wrapped up another Z-W WHO (as in Horton) Vacation!
Life is good!
