Salt Lake City with the IAA

Monday Angee and I flew to Salt Lake City to judge the Utah Emerald Awards.

This is the first year that Idaho is assisting in the Utah judging and then Utah will assist in the judging for Idaho. With all that has been going on, it was a good way to get away and slow down. Not really.

When we arrived Angee and I both grabbed a dinner of champions at the front desk...lol!

After a long day of judging on Tuesday Paul took us all out to an amazing dinner. After a quick stop at his gaming sanctuary where he feeds his erg to collect dice we headed to the play to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the round. The day was long, the night was amazing. I loved sharing it

Thanksgiving has arrived.

With all the recent events Thanksgiving seemed to sneak up on us. I was however, excited to share this years festivities with Eric and his family. Garrett and Amanda even made an appearance. Is was nice not to have to make the whole meal. Eric smoked a turkey and it was amazing! I love that he developed such a love of cooking! He is great at it!

Family time was much needed. Hope you all had a blessed day!

The Pursuit Turkey Bowl

Today we attended the first annual Pursuit Turkey Bowl. It was a hit to say the least.

Friends bring comfort

When your heart has been broken and your friend is in town when you get home, what else would they do besides make you home made chicken noodle soup with mashed potatoes.

I love you Suzette Niederer!

One last tribute at Old A

It's pretty common for us to have a potluck at the old airport. This is pretty common among the locals and visitors alike. Patti brought out a couple of the photos from the service and we all met to celebrate Dad while enjoying the sunset.

Afternoon at the beach

If you know me, you know nothing brings me joy more than Kua Bay. I think I spent as much time as I could here this trip. It just helps my soul. While Tristan walked Patti and Stacey out for their personal photo shoots, I spent time just resting.
