Cole Valley 40 vs Melba 0

When you are out of town and you ask your husband to take photos at the first game.

😂😂😂

The school got the second photo which I love.

Glad they played well!

Chicago Day 4

This morning we met Paul, Jean, and DJ for a river boat and lake architecture tour. We had perfect weather and it was beautiful! I loved being out on the water and seeing everything from a new view. It was fun to learn more history and our guide had a dry sense of humor with cheesy one liners that kept things light.

Going through the Chicago Harbor Lock to get to the lake was fascinating. The views of the skyline from the lake were stunning!

We went back through the Lock and went further up the river. There is so much interesting architecture and art, which is one and the same.

It was a wonderful tour! Thanks Paul!

It was finally time to get to work.
Our conference is at a huge conference center. We went to a couple of classes that were just meh.
But we ended the day with an awesome general session.
Bill Rancic was the emcee. I enjoy listening to him so that was fun.
Chicago mayor Lightfoot was awesome!
The best part of the day was the main speaker, Erik Weihenmayer. Wow. I laughed and cried all the way through it. He was so inspiring and lots of things hit hard. I will be getting all his books. He is an incredible human. Even if the rest of the conference is mediocre, listening to him will have made the entire thing worth it!

We made our way to Quarntino for some delicious Italian food. It was all so good but although I was in the mood for salmon, I wish I had gotten pasta. Lynnette's was fantastic!
We walked back to the hotel and had our earliest night yet.
We are having such a
wonderful time
and I'm loving every minute of my time with Angee.

Chicago Day 3

This morning started at an Immersive Van Gogh experience. It was such an incredible experience! I was able to get into a meditative state and really feel the art come alive. I had the chills, some tears, and I really loved it. It was a beautiful experience. I only have one regret of a missed opportunity that would have made it better but it was neat and definitely worth it!

Len took us out to lunch at Portillo's. We ordered exactly as John instructed.  We did not care for the cheese sauce for the fries but the others were good. We like the dog better than the sandwich but Len's polish dog was the best.
We then stopped at Hard Rock to shop for the kids and then walked back to room to chill.

In the afternoon, we met up with Len to get checked in for the NAA Convention. They had a deligate meeting and then we to Wrigley Field! First we went to Cubby Bear for food and a meet up with other NAA attendees, then went into the stadium. I got myself a shirt and we watched Ava Max and then Blackbear perform.

And then it was time for the main event! Maroon Five! I've seen them three times in three different states. They never disappoint!

It was an amazing show! Thanks Apartment.com! I feel so lucky to be participating in this stuff and incredibly grateful!
When we got back to the hotel, we ate a midnight snack of pizza from our first night.
