Birthday parties...

Today Tristan had his first birthday party invite. Two of his friends at school, Jacob, and Haven were having a birthday party in Nampa. Tristan had a late nap so we got there a bit late but they all had such a great time!

Tristan and Abigail

I love this picture of Tristan in mid air!

After the birthday party we headed over to Sheree and Paige's house because she had a birthday today too.

Tristan had a little melt down because he wanted to open Paige's gift. He had to have a time out.

Paige showed Tristan a trick with Sheree's help and he was all over it!

Paige got an American Girl doll for hr birthday, love the matching outfits!
Sheree was trying her had at artistry. Paige's birthday party was a trip to Michael's to paint birdhouses, there was an extra house so Sheree busted out some paint!
FUN!

Go fly a kite...

I have been wanting to have my eyebrows tattoes on. I have also wanted to have my eye liner done. I chose to have the eye liner done because I though if I had to pick they would be it. So, today was the day. It actually was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I love them already and I stil have to heal for a week.

When I got home Tristan was having a nap but when he woke up we were off to the park. I had bought him a kite some time ago and there was never a day it crossed my mind but today was that day! The weather was perfect! The kite was a little inflatable kite. I could not believe how easy it was for Tristan to fly. He loved it! It was so much fun! I have not flown a kite in years and I mean a lot of years!

That smile is priceless.

Back to Tamarack

Patti and I headed back to Tamarack this week to get some much needed work done. We had a few big ticket items that we needed to spend some uninterrupted time on, what better place to do it than our new house!

Today is also my big sister's birthday so we had to live it up a little bit. We started off with some cheese, crackers, and wine.

Patti opened her birthday present, which was quit nicely wrapped I might add.
A Brookstone IPOD docking station which sounds fabulous I might add.

I made a fabulous dinner, I made spaghetti from Tex's left over roasted veggies, added some diced tomatoes and served with Romano cheese, add a bit of wine, and wala!

After dinner we treated ourselves to birthday cupcakes that we picked up before we left Boise.
Oh, were they good!

The aftermath!

We could not leave this picture out. We were in need of a later to hang some art. Some of the Tamarack faithful brought it for us. One happened to be the safety inspector, he left before we did this...

We saw this beautiful fox as we headed out to have dinner after a long hard days work.

After a fabulous, shared meal at The Mill, we retreated to the fire pit in the bar to, you guessed it, roast some marshmallows. Patti had to wonder off to find some roasting sticks. We shared our treat with some other people around the fire. Yummy! Gosh we have fun!

Easter 2011

Easter morning Tristan woke early, he headed down stairs where he was met by Auntie Patti both of whom were excited to find their surprises. The baskets were flowing and the eggs lay in waiting. There were surprises for all!

Love the tongue.

I found one, I found one!

Steve, Gail, Carrie and Colin sent Tristan a super cute, little Easter book.

Auntie Patti taught Tristan how to peel and eat a hard boiled egg, it was so cute!

MMMM...

Once we wrapped up with our Easter festivities, we headed south to see daddy. Tex is feeling better and has invited Eric and Lisa's family, mom, and Lisa were coming too. When we arrived, Tex informed us that the Easter bunny had delivered surprises here for us. It was treats galore!

Tex made a fabulous dinner. Ham, Turkey, lots of fresh fruit, and grilled veggies.
It was super yummy!
Thanks hun!

Grandma & Auntie Lisa brought TJ some Easter goodies!

Grammy & Pa Pa sent chocolate bunnies from Hawaii too...
SO MUCH CHOCOLATE!
HELP!
