"I Got A feeling"

A few months ago I down loaded "I Got A Felling" by The Black Eyed Peas. One day I played it in the car and Tristan just started rocking out. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Tonight The Black Eyed Peas sang on the Grammy's so I thought I would try to record it. It is in short sections so I can load it on to blogger.

Enjoy!

Hanging with friends.

The Niederer's came for the weekend. The girls had a cheer leading meet in Nampa. Tristan quickly decided that he liked Suzette monster mug! I thing the mug is bigger than he is. The kids had fun playing with balloons in the living room. I swear, a bag of balloons can keep the kids occupied for hours!

Saturday we got up at the crack of dawn to go watch the girls perform. Tierra was first. The Idaho Falls Elite "Tiny" group. They we so darn cute, and T is amazing!

We got the kids some donuts.

Look at this sassy little girl, she has grown up into such a young lady!

That is T on the right!

I tried to get a pictures of Tristan and the girls but her was more concerned with the girls hair.

The Tiny's took first.

Morgan's group took 4th.

Sunday we woke up and made agreat breakfast! Bacon, Eggs, & Pancakes.

Suzette refused to have her picture taken.

What a great weekend. I really needed it. We have a lot of changes going on right now and it was nice to have the Niederer's here for a small sense of normalcy. I miss them so much and cried terribly when they left. I love you guys!

Pampered Chef Party

Last month I went to my first Pampered Chef party at Julie's house. I had never been to one before. If you have never been to one before, a "hostess" brings all her Pampered Chef products, you invite all your friends over, you make a fun food dish, you eat and she sells you the products. I am usually not too into this kid of thing but it was a blast! So much so I decided to host my own. Our theme was Super Bowl Food! We made taco dip and hot wings. Our hostess set it up by teams. They were made by those who were for each Super Bowl Team, The Colts or The Saints. One team made the wings, the other made the dip. Both dishes were super yummy!
Guests in attendance: Amy, Dani, Jamie, her mom Chris, and daughter Kylie, MK, Lisa, Julie, & Red Ang.

This is Kim, our hostess.

Thanks for coming everybody. It was so much fun!

Love & Loss

My friend Kari just lost her best friend. She was having a relatively simple surgery and passed away due to some other complications. Kari posted this quote on her Facebook page and I loved it so I wanted to share it with all of you. It is so true.

"Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."

Kari, I love you very much and you know I am always here for you!

The King has arrived.

After much anticipation Tex and I had purchased a king size bed. We always said we would never have one but after sleeping in one at Tamarack, as well as Tristan crawling in bed with us in the queen, we finally decided to move on. WHAT A GREAT DECISION! WE BOTH LOVE IT!

The last night in the queen.

I can not wait till tonight!
Look at all that room!

A family day of football and dinner.

Today mom and Lisa came over to watch football and have some dinner. We haven't been able to spend much time together and it was nice for them to come over and spend some time with us. Tristan decided to nap on mom's lap and Lisa took him for a spin in the shopping cart.

Tex made appetizers.

Later in the day Tristan and I shared our first artichoke, boy was it good!

Time to go shopping.

The Niederer's got Tristan the cutest shopping cart for Christmas. I must have had brain overload from putting so many toys together as that one was giving me some trouble. I thought I had to drill some holes. I thought to myself..." that can't be right". Last night I finally got some time to really look at it and no holes had to be drilled. Glad I took the time and the cart is together before the Niederer's get here next weekend! Can't wait to see them!

I am goin shopin!

... Goodbye

Tristan always says "na, na", so I started signing the song... na na na na... na na na na.. hey hey hey... goodbye. Last weekend while the Cowboys were getting their butts kicked by the Vikings I began to sing it and he started to sing it with me. So we immediately ran down stairs and started signing it to Tex. This is not the best rendition but you will get the point.

SORRY DALLAS!

Time to lock him in.

The escape artist is now locked in. Tristan had made a habit of going out the front door... not any more! Tex put the latch on the door so he cane not escape any more. I am so relieved.

Sharing Christmas with the Grandkids.

Today was a great day, not only have did the Vikings beat the Cowboys, but Tex had invited Jerrod and the grand kids over as well as making arrangements to get Julian so we could all share in the Christmas festivities that were missed last month! What a great day!
