Santa Claus is coming to town...

For years Suzette has been inviting us to their family holiday party. There is always a special appearance by one certain man in a red suit. The family gets together and shares in fun, family, and friends. For two years now we have been blessed to join them. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Patti was in love with the potatoes.

Here I have been telling TJ to stay off of the furniture and what do they do? Jump from the arm of the chair to the Love Sac

Patti's turn.

He has arrived!

Patti wanted some one on one time this year.

Apparently she was on the naughty list.

We are so blessed to have such great friends.
Another great weekend!
Love you guys!

Cirque Dreams Holidaze

My friend Sheree has had a surprise planned for me for weeks. I have been so super excited and tonight was the night. Sheree and Paige picked up Patti, Tj and I at 615 and we were off. We headed downtown to the Morrison Center to the one night showing of Cirque Dreams Holidaze.

We started things of with a little glass of wine.

I love this picture of Tristan holding Paige's hand.

The kids and I.

Sheree and Patti

The girls!

Love's for Auntie Patti

Tristan made it through most of the show. Right before the last act he was out. What a super fun surprise! I am so blessed to have such great friends who love me! Thanks Sheree and Paige! We loved it!

Linda's Rolls

Remember back in the day when one family stuck out when you were growing up? Well, The Crapo's were always one of those families for me. Of coarse Jill and I were great friends and still are and because of that I remember many times hanging out with her and her family.

Her mom Linda is one of those women that I always appreciated and try to be like. I can remember her all though high school hosting dinner's, booster fundraisers, and always supporting her family and friends. And boy can she cook!

For years now Suzette has been making "Linda's Rolls", Suzette talks about them as she can still taste them. I asked Suzette to send me the recipe so I could give them a try. I want to make them for Thanksgiving but I think I should do a trial run first, so today is that day.

I never in my right mind thought I would make anything that required yeast.
Are you kidding me? My Grandma uses yeast.

Kneading

Rolling

One of my favorite parts! My little helper!

And they are done... They look like Linda's. They need a little work perfecting the timing, but I think I will give them a shot. Kind of funny that I was so into making something i could not even eat but everyone else seemed to like them.

Thanks for getting me the recipe Suzy Q and thanks to the Crapo's for the great memories!
Whats next you might ask? Linda's Cinnamon Rolls!
