Man, this was a hard fought battle and after a 2 hour start delay I think the boys played well. There were a couple unforeseen turnovers but the boys battled the entire game. Tristan returned 2 kickoff for touchdowns and had a great reception for a first down. In the end they ended up short but still a great game!
So excited for this game since I missed last week. I was not really sure how much playing time T would get but he actually got quite a bit. This was a blowout to say the least and considering last year it was 6 point spread. The boys needed this!
This game was a barn burner. Cole Valley was down 14 -0 after the first quarter. They came back to score a touchdown and a 2 point conversion which made it 14 - 8 in the second. Sadly, Tristan scored the touchdown but he was so close to me that I missed the reception. It was such a great catch! The team played great for the first game of the season. The third quarter was scoreless and then with 2 minutes left to play in the fourth Cole Valley scored again tying the game. Another attempt at a 2 point conversion was successful and Cole Valley pulled ahead 16- 14. What a game!
