A complimentary trip to the Hawks game.

Our friends Cory & Tracy called to see if we wanted to go to the Hawks game. It was a nice cool evening and we thought, why not? Hanna did not want to go so we took her home. Lisa was staying the night , so Tex, Tristan, Lisa and I all bundled up and went to the game. It was a great night for baseball. This was the last home game of the season, the Hawks are already out of the playoff and there was some word that they did not even want to play the game. That is pretty selfish! The Hawks did end up winning 3 - 1.

Humphrey the Hawk

Tristan could not quite flirting with Cory's daughter Brooklynn.

Cory and the kids went out to run the bases after the game but they were too tired and could not make it.

Thanks for a fun night Cory & Tracy!

BSU vs Idaho State

Well, yesterday I got a massage, it was a great massage but it kicked my but! I was in tears last night and could hardly move! And can I say Tex's bedside manor sucks!!!!!!!!! So, needless to say I did not paint my face this week. I was lucky I even went.

Mom, Lisa and Hanna came with us.

We ran into Scott

Tristan was tuckered out!

Since the game was a blow out we left at the end of the third quarter.

Final score BSU - 49 - ISU - 7

Happy Anniversary

Well, today we celebrated 21 years of marriage. Wow! Two months ago as I was waiting outside the ICU in Genoa I wondered if I would ever celebrate our anniversary together again. We have come along way since the end of June and each day brings more surprises. I am grateful for each day and moment we have together and little things like a picnic in the park make me happy.
Len is progressing well and next week we begin outpatient therapy and Santa Clara Medical Center. He even ask me out to dinner tonight and we went across the street for dinner. Two weeks ago he didn't want to go anywhere. His speech is clearer now and we continue to practice every day at Len's insistence. He is such a task master. I can see glimpses of what he must have been like in school. Pushing himself all the time. Today he announced he was ready to go back to the office. He said there just wasn't enough for him to do around the apartment. We'll see.
Thank you for all the cards and good wishes.
Love and Aloha,
Sue and Len

Our first dinner out

A visit with Anna

I met Anna at Parklane when I was there. Our friendship is one of the best things that came out of that job! Anna and I have stayed in touch and I try to get out to see her every few weeks. Tristan loves to visit because Anna always has lots of toys!

When we got home Tristan was all tuckered out!

Night Out

We were getting a little restless just hanging out in the apartment last night so we took a drive and ended up at Baskin Robbins. We thank Kathy Staton for her gift which we used at the ice cream parlor. We also thank Judi and Jo for the suggestion. Hope you enjoy the photo.

Love and Aloha,
Sue and Len
