Weekend at Tamarack

This weekend we headed up to Cascade for our grandson's graduation, we decided to make a weekend out of it. It is great to get to spend time at our new home in Donnelly. So much more room, wonderful views and great time with family. If you know me I love nothing more. We bikes, hiked, fished, thought the fist weren't biting... again. We roasted marshmallows and gazed at the stars. It was fun having Koa and Brittany with us!

Cascade Graduation 2021 Jarrod Horton Jr

Today our oldest grandson graduated from High School, yes that is what I said.

Today we watched as Cascade High School honored those who had worked hard for 12 years. It was a beautiful ceremony at a beautiful location. It was great to be able to share this moment with him and his family.

Following the graduation Sarah invited us over to their home for a graduation ceremony. Such a great way to spend the day!

Congratulations Jarrod Horton

Rhoni Danials-Wilkins I miss you already friend

Today I lost a friend, a sister in Christ, and a fellow athlete. Rhoni Daniels-Wilkins you were such an incredible human. You fought with courage and strength even in your hardest moments and you always did it with a smile on your face. Your smile was contagious, so many of those around you adored you, most of all your family. Your love for Christ inspired me daily, such a selfless soul, always looking out for those around you. I will forever cherish the time we got to spend together, especially those in recent weeks. Bed dancing to The Greatest Showman will remain one of our fondest memories. You will forever live in my heart. I know we didn't make it to Hawaii together but you will have the best seat in the house to watch all the races you want to now. I will meet you there and we can cheer Rinny on together and bask in the beautiful Hawaiian sun. I love you forever. Aloha my friend, a hui hou mākou. #cansersucks #smilesobigyoureyesdiapear

Midnight Moon

When you plan a midnight hike to table rock just after you find out one of your most trusted friends is moving back east. Angee and I both went at our own pace and met at the top to share our thoughts and enjoy the view. A lot to think about tonight.

How can this be??? Timberline Graduation 2021

I don't know how this is possible but in the blink of an eye Paige Lynn has graduated. It seems that she was just a little girl and we were gallivanting all across the country. Now she is 18 and headed to collage. So proud of the young woman she has become! Love you.

A little help from our friends.

When your friend bares her soul on Facebook about a past trauma you go find her to give her a hug to tell her how proud you are of her.
