Arrow of Light

The Arrow of Light is the highest level of achievement that a Cub Scout can achieve. Today was Tristan's Arrow of Light Cross over. After achieving 5 years of Scouting requirements Tristan is now moving on to By Scouts Troop 77.

It is a bit sad that a number of the families have now split but we are looking forward to a great scouting experience with out new troop! Unfortunately Tex missed the celebration as he was on his way back from Texas after visiting for his mom's birthday but he was missed.

It was a football themed party for Wally and yes they are Vandal Fans. I could not help it but I needed to take this picture with Tristan and the fam! So blessed to have such great friends in the neighborhood!

Urban Wine Tour

After spending time together at a recent concert with the girls, we have decided that we need to do this a bit more often. This trip was the Urban Wine Tour in Boise. I was so grateful that the girls came over and fun was had by all. Life is not about the "stuff" you have in your life but about the quality of life that you spend with one another. This weekend was all about quality time. I am so blessed to have such amazing friends!

Next stop... Jackson Hole!

Somewhere over the rainbow...

Monday night we were sitting at the table having dinner and Tex made the comment to look at the foothills. When I went outside this is what I found! It was simply amazing!

Winter Carnival with the Z-W's

The Z-W's and the Horton's decided to head to the mountain for the second weekend of Winter Carnival. Tristan decided to take a stab at Snowboarding this trip. He really liked it! I always said when he could ski with me that he could try it. Today was that day. Tex  busted a binding before he even hit the slopes so he didn't even get to ski. Saturday we skied and then went into McCall to have dinner with the Z-W's and then it was off to check out the sculptures and the fireworks. We stopped afterwards for cocktails and games. Sunday was meant for a second day of skiing. It was kind of funny because Saturday it was warm enough it was raining and over night we got a foot of snow. CRAZY!

Another super fun weekend with great friends!
