Today we invited the Kasper's over for Life Group. It is a sad day as we are saying goodbye. After 15 years at The Pursuit they are off to Grand Rapids to start at a new church. Fun was had by all and we were able to send them off in style with lots of fun goodies. It was nice of them to make time for us before they left.
Here we are for round two. Today is family fun day complete with the 80's band, bbq dinner fun and games. I did not get a lot of pictures but today was definitely a success. So grateful to Angel Linhart for all her help! Selena, you are my lifesaver! And best thing of all, today we hand the next one off to Todd Housley and Alan Dopp.
This reunion definitely 30n years in the making. I new this weekend was going to be a long one but coming from Garden Valley then to St Anthony and back to Boise in 2 days was going to wipe me out. I decide to drive through the desert and I only got pulled over once. I was grateful to not get a ticket.
I headed straight for the Relay Station, now Mad Moose Pizza. This was supposed to be the pre party but we had about 50 classmates attend. Even if tomorrow fails today is a success by all and catch up from years gone bye. So much fun to be had by all.
I really could not have done this without Selena. She put together this wonderful memorial for those we have lost.
Every year for Starlight Kids Camp we decide where we are going to stay and then book a house so we can stay the later end of the week. Last year we booked The Pool House, and it's a good thing because the price of the house double per night. This was a super great place to stay becuae we had our own pool which was great for this years hot days.
Mid year I found out that we would be having our class reunion the same weekend so I would not be able to stay for The kids performance. I did sleep in Friday morning for a sneak peak through the fence.
Angee and Tex were kind enough to record the performance for me.
We have had so many great years at Starlight that this year we decided to get season tickets. We really feel we have become part of the Starlight Family. We have such great times together. This weekend we are seeing It's Sugar and Signing in the Rain. We absolutely love spending time with the Jensen Family.
Friday we saw It's Sugar, Tristan got his first kiss from Audrey, yes it's true... ok he bought licorish and got a kiss lol.
Saturday was Singing in the Rain after an entire day sitting in the river. What a great day and a great weekend.
