Hi Is Risen

I am truly blessed with a 16, going on 17 young man that will still stay up late to decorate Easte Eggs with me, then get up and go to church, and yes, look for said eggs in the morning.

Thank you Lord for this gift.

Happy Birthday Jacob!

It has been a long road for our friends. The Serre's have witnessed the unfathomable. Genetic heart disease, two heart transplants, 2 heart attacks, and a stroke. the fact that we are here to visit this incredible young man is nothing short of a miracle.

Can't wait to hug you and celebrate your birthday bud!

 

We haeded back to the Bay to spend some time with the Welter's. You see, Gail has not been doing so well. She is fighting her second round of chemo. Gail has been a special force in my life. She has always been the mother that I strive to be. She is an amazing influence to not just her kids but also mine. We went to her favorite Taqueria to get burritos to take to the house. We had a lovely visit after a tour of their new home. I am so grateful that we got this time together.

We love you guys!

 

The rest of the trip was filled with great food, family and fun. We did a lot of fishing, watched some basketball and really just got used to this end of town. I love walking down here. It is much more quiet. Keauhou Shopping Center is lovely and not as many people. 

The surrounding were different but we will get used to it.

We will be heading back to the Bay Area early so we can see Gail and Jacob.
