I went back and forth on this one a lot but in the end I decided to pull the trigger, at least with some help. Adele had been on my list for a long time and once she announced her retirement, again. I really wanted to make it happen. It was not very cost effective so I went solo, and I might not have done it without Patti and Angee. It was worth every penny. It truly was a show of a lifetime.
What a gift. I am truly blessed.
Well, we really wanted to go to The Joshua Tree on our way home but we did not plan for an entire day which is what is would have taken. Now we just have to come back.
We started out our afternoon by checking out the flamingo's. Apparently, our hotel was notorious for their flamingos. Then it was off to The Living Zoo. Loved the desert landscaped and the African Wildlife.
After spending the afternoon at the zoo we went back down town for Sue's second suggestion Las Casuals Terazza which just happened to be on the same block as their Thursday Market called Village Fest. Blocks and blocks of local vendors, live music, and fun. We probably only made it 1/3 of the way before heading back to get to our table. Last stop was to see Marilyn. Another amazing year. Now its off for a quick stop in Vegas.
