Annual Friendsgiving

There is a group of girls I don't talk about very often, mostly because I would like to respect their privacy. As they have gotten older they have given me permission to share some of our stories. You see, in 2018 I began leading a group of girls in 6th grade from The Pursuit. These girls were in 6th grade and we will lead for another 6 years until they are seniors in high school. Some have come and gone over the years but the core has remained. I share this privilege with two co leaders, Megan and Maren. We have also had ups and downs but the good news is God ALWAYS wins. One more year, I can't believe it.

 

Sister's date long over due.

This day was long overdue. Patti and I have not had much time together even though she moved back for a couple years. We spent the day down town shopping, having lunch, visiting Freak Alley, and then we went to The Village.

I love you to the moon and back sis, we need more days like today.

 

The Astros WIN the World Series

When your mother-in-law is in love with the Astros and they make it to the world series and they have to win a game in Philly in order to get back to Houston and they do, well, what should you do? Get your husband and your mother-in-law tickets. Then do to a rain delay game 6 was delayed but thank God Tex was still scheduled to be there. 

The best part of this magical moment is that The Astros actually won!  

What an experience for the two of them.

 

CBW Christmas Party in a Stealhead Suite

Every year we take the time to celebrate together as a staff and we try to choose something in the valley or surrounding area that we have not done before. This year it is a suite at a Stealhead game. The night was full of fun, gifts, and seasonal bonuses. It was also full of illness, as a number of us got sick after. Still fun to celebrate with our work family.
