Today was awesome! We spent the morning just chillin at the house. Then we headed over to see Mom and steal her away for a bit. We drove out to see the Rooster Tail out to Lucky Peak. The Rooster Tail is when they let a large amount of water out to allow for spring run off. It was bigger than I have seen in years.
Then it was time to head down town to see steam engine 884 roll into town for The Boise Train Depot's 92 Anniversary. I don't think I have ever seen a working steam engine and today did not disappoint. Originally we were east of town but then we found out the the engine had circled around and was coming in from the west. Tex did an amazing job to get us there in time to see this incredible vision. It was so awesome, especially when they blew the horn right next to us... what a rush!
After the road trip we stopped for a nice little supper at Sheri's.
