This year was the first year in five years that I did not compete in the Y Not Tri. As I anticipate my coming surgery I went to watch one of my good friends race. When I arrived I was a bit sad and once I saw Rhoni I even began to cry. We were supposed to train and race together this year but it was not in the cards. It was awesome to watch Rhoni step out on to that course this year and reach all of her goals. Seeing the smile on her face reminded me of everything that I love about this sport!
Way to go Rhoni!
