Grammy and Pappa came to town and Tristan took Grammy out for a bit of Pokemon Go. They stayed with us for a coupe nights before heading up to Tamarack for their annual 2 week trip. We will be headed up there to spend the weekend of the eclipse with them. Since our places were all rented, Grammy found a place in McCall to stay at.
After a couple days at Tamarack full of fishing, food, and family we packed up and headed to our place to watch the eclipse.
Once checked in to the red Fox Lodge we spent the weekend by the lake and at the coffee house awaiting the arrival of the moon to cross the patch of the sun.
When Monday rolled around we were all excited. dad most of all. Watching the process was simply amazing. Dad fired up the NASA sight on the phone so watched totality as it look it's course across the United States. McCall was 99.7% so we were not quit in totality but it was still amazing. the temperature drop, the street lights coming on, we could even see a planet next to the eclipse.
It was truly amazing to spend this event with my family. This is another memory I will cherish for some time.
