Today Tristan got to go on his first field trip with his new school. Judge Bail gave the kids the basics of her courtroom and I loved how she involved the kids!
After the courthouse we were off to view the historic US Bank Building downtown. I have never been in this bank before. It was pretty awesome. I love historic buildings. The kids got to see the vault which has the heaviest vaut door west of the Mississippi. It was moved from another bank in town that used to be the in The Fork Restaurant. You are not allowed to take pictures in the bank.
The kids got some time to run on the grass at the capital building. We also stopped here for lunch.
After lunch we walked to the Supreme Court Building.
Then is was back to tour The State Capital.
These district representative were truly amazing. These ladies spoke to the kids about being representatives for their neighborhoods. After the traditional rotunda class photo we were given a tour by Marv Hagerdorn. He was an awesome guide and great with the kids!
