Starlight Theater Kids Camp 2020

Starlight is always a fun time of year for us! The Jensen's and I take turns driving the kids up on a daily basis which in turn gives us a day just to unplug. They at the end of the week it is capped off by renting a cabin and spending the weekend together. I really don't know what I would do without this family. We have shared so much about love, loss, and trauma. All of our kids are adopted and are bonded by pure love. I am grateful that we get to celebrate it often.

 Another fun filled weekend with friends, and family. So many games and laughs. I can go for more of these days! 

 

A long over due family dinner

It has been long overdue to get this family together. Covid has put a bit of a damper on things but it was nice to get all the kids and grand kids together for a little visit!

 

Depot Bay Whale Watching

 A day of whale watching on tap. The water is rough, in fact we were the last boats to go out for the day. Tristan's Dramamine knocked him out. We saw a number of whales surface. No breaching.

After the tour we went shopping. Tex wanted to stop at his pottery place so we did. Then it was back to the house for the second half of Hamilton and more games.

Saturday morning the Jensen's woke up and did some yoga. We headed out to the Saturday market where we bought some local produce. Then it was off to Newport to finish up crabbing for the day. We caught lots of crabs but not many worth keeping. It is not the best time of year but we had a good time anyway. Angee took the kids shopping. While KG and I watch the nets. Once we got home we tie died our shirts that Angee brought. Tex built a fire and we scouted out the commit. Then it was a night full of Hamilton and games.
