Winter Camp looked a little different this year. We were supposed to go to Quaker Hill but after another year of low registration Turrell pulled off a camp of a lifetime all centralized from the church. With the help of Kenzie and other staff members camp became free of charge and we had almost 50 kids. It was incredible. Each group was assigned a room in the building. Senior girls were in the staff offices. Food was donated. Worship was amazing and Turrell taught some amazing messages. Glow in the dark dodge ball was a blast. Grant and Chelsey received permission for us to swim at their pool at the KOA and a Sunday trip to the river bottom was a great way to wrap up the weekend. The staff easily could have just cancelled the camp but instead they changed lives forever.
