Martin Luther King Jr Day

Every year, as well as every day, Tex and I try to teach Tristan all of life's lesson's just as many of our friends and family do. With Tristan we really want him to know of his heritage and his life and how it has impacted us as a family and how he can impact this world. One of those instances is that of human rights and how they impact us around the world. This year was the first year we attended the march with Tristan. It was pretty special.

Ceremonies opened with an Indian chant, it was beautiful.

After the march we stopped at The Falcon Tavern for lunch.

The day ended with lots of play today. After coming home and taking a nap we played soccer outside then ball inside. Texas made dinner and then we all played some more. What a wonderful family day!
