Iceland Akureyri to Hvammstangi then onto Standarstadur.
A beautiful drive along the north side of the island. The drives have now shortened in length and we are still taking a few byways but more time to rest. We have napped, played cards and Rumicube, played basketball, and finally just relaxed. We visited Hvitserkur, Kirkjufellsfoss, Kirkjufell, Bjarnafoss, and the boys even got 9 holes in at Hotel Langaholt. Langaholt may be my favorite hotel yet. The traditional meal, home cooked with local ingredients, and the ocean with the ice capped mountain was beyond stunning. I am beyond grateful.
