Christmas Eve @ Salmon Creek w/ Mom

Christmas Eve would not be the same if we were not spending it with Agnes. There have been a lot of changes for mom this year. As the year unfolded Mom and I began looking at Retirement centers so when the time came she could pick one. Little did I know she would like one so much that she would choose to move in late October. Her choice was Salmon Creek. Mom did what mom does by making her cute little space her home!

Mom has been feeling a bit under the weather but with lots of care and some antibiotics she was up for Christmas Eve Dinner with us and boy did that make me happy!

We were able to reserve a cute little dining room to eat dinner. In case you forgot, Mom used to cook lasagna on Christmas Eve but when she quit cooking we started to order Chinese Food. I love this because no one has to cook and the clean up is really easy! This year did not fail.

Family photo by the fire place thanks to Willard, one of Mom's new friends: ) :

Time to open gifts!

Of coarse Tristan was eager to help!

Lisa got a book I made her from her 50th birthday last year... tear jerker.

Cash is always good for the struggling teen.

Juannie, we love our new blankie... especially Tex : )

Lisa pulled through with the holiday Coke glasses for Tex from McDonald's.

Happy Holiday's Everyone! Hope you are spending them with the one's you love!
