Since we arrived a bit late last night and were enjoying the power outage, today we decided to explore. There is not much open here. The lava tube was closed, Jager was closed and probably will not open. The hot pots were open and we went over to check them out. It was a bit different view of the caldera. It really is simply amazing. We also checked out the base which I am not sure I have ever been to. We did a bit of shopping and then enjoyed the drive back to Kona. We headed back to Fish Hopper for a birthday dinner with Grammy & PaPa for Tristan.
