So mom came into town Tuesday night after trying to get her health under control in Idaho. She was supposed to come with us a week ago but she was unable to. After a week of improvement she flew down but was very tired. She also got sick the following day and was unable to go on the helicopter ride. After an emotional few days we finally met downtown for coffee at The Lava Java, my favorite coffee house!






After coffee we went to do some shopping at the farmers market. Mom tired quickly but was happy to do some snuggling with her grandson!

We headed down to the Keiki beach to try to give TJ and Paige some quality beach time. Paige and Sheree enjoyed some quality snorkel time in a little better environment. Tristan, he was just happy to build sand castles!

That evening Sheree and I had originally planned to swim with the Manta Rays but due to some changes in our schedule we decided not to. We were so glad because the surf was ridiculously high. We did, however, drive down to the Sheraton to see them. You can actually view them from the deck there. We only saw three but it was still pretty cool!

After looking at the Manta Rays we decided to grab a bite to eat there. Tex and Sheree traded kids. Briefly : )
