A day of dedication

This morning I wanted to take Tex up to Haluakoa for breakfast. Shooter took us here the morning after Ironman and Tex was sick that day and I wanted to bring him ever since. They did not open until 10 so we had to kill time for an hour.

Tristan Loves the Fish!

We stopped by the Lavatube

Our days in Hawaii are generally the same, the day begins with training, breakfast, beach, shave ice and repeat! Today was not different. Today's beach was the Keiki Pond, a perfect place to take Auntie and Tristan for their first snorkeling trip. They did great!

Our afternoon plans would be quit special. The Church Dad has attended the entire time he has lived in Hawaii was condemned years ago after and earthquake cause severe structural damage. Since then they have been rebuilding and while building they held their services in tents. This is even more meaningful as the Church reconstruction paralleled my dad's recovery. How special would it be that all three of his girls would be there to attend the dedication with him. As we arrived the energy in the air was simply amazing!

After the service Dad treated us to dinner at The Kona Inn. This is always a treat! After dinner we headed down for a shave ice and Dad hung out for a bit for a tottie.

Thanks Dad for allowing us to be a part of such a meaningful day!
I love you so much!
