So we are off for our second annual family trip with the ZW's. We are spending a week at Glacier National Park. They are driving and we are flying. Between Tex's hip surgery and traveling with a 7year old I figured one road trip per summer is all we can take. We flew into Whitefish and because it took me so long to make the reservation I was not able to get us at The Lodge, but did get us into The Grouse Mountain Lodge. This was actually really nice it just did not have the lake view.
When we arrived we found City Beach and spent some time there.
Saturday we went down to Flathead Lake and Tex dropped Tristan and I off for some nice fishing and swimming while he went on an excursion to Yellow Bay. After no luck with fishing and water too cold for swimming we called Tex and he took us for a short little ride to see a beautiful hay field and an old bridge and river crossing area.
Tomorrow we are headed for Big Mountain and will meet Sheree and Johnny after Zip Lining for dinner.
