OMG-Eclipse

OMG! I can not believe the time is finally here. When I realized how close Sue & Kev were going to be here to the release of Eclipse I asked if they could stay for another couple of days and they were able to work it out! Edwards was actually showing a triple feature of all three films but we could not bear to leave Lisa with all the kids for that long. Sue, Kev, Tex and I all headed to the theatre 2 hours early. There were all kids of promos going on.

We ran into Tevia and one of her friends. They had been on a Twilight Marathon. They came prepare with coffee, games and a buzz. it was so cute!

The boys went to get snacks... movie without food was very hard.

Let's go fishin'

So yesterday we bought the poles and today we are going fishing. Trevan has been dying he is such an avid hunter and fisherman. We headed to McDevit pond on the corner of Eagle and McMillan. Fish and Game just stocked this pond a couple of weeks ago for the free fishing day.
The boys both got "collapsible" poles that are in their backpacks. They came with a little tackle box, and glasses. Too cute!

Trevan was off on his own. He was catching fish left and right with just a line, hook and worm!

Morgan caught one! They were just little perch but the kids didn't care.

Family, Food, & Fun!

Sunday we had lots of activities planned. Sue was so sweet while she was here. she made meals for our families every night and every night she took into consideration that I could not eat solids. She planned "side dishes" with every meal that I could adapt to eat. It was so thoughtful!

Today was a meal I had been looking forward to, homemade chicken noodle soup with mashed potatoes. Sue made the noodles in the morning and all the kids wanted to help, it was so cute!



Suzette made homemade guacamole that she had in Mexico. It was so good, I ate it with a spoon!

Time to eat!

We went to Wall Mart earlier in the day and bought the kids fishing poles. Time to take the boys fishing. Trevan got the boys all hooked up and practiced casting in the pool, it was so cute!

As the day wore on we headed down to Ann Morrison Park to let the kids play in the fountain. It was a bit chilly but the kids had a great time. After they played in the fountain we spent some time at the playground.





Kevan got a bit spunky and started grabbing his family and putting them in the water. Kevan really had a good time this trip and seemed very relaxed! You deserve some down time Kev!

The best was when Kev grabbed Sue and Sue copped an attitude! It was so cute! Kev should have soaked her though!

Another great day!

Another lazy day...

Saturday started out and finished in a very lazy fashion. The kids spent a majority of the day in the pool again. Suzette and I went to do the shopping for the week and to take care of a problem in the VRBO unit. All in all another great day!

We got Hanna for the weekend and Garrett came over too.

Time for dinner. Short ribs, potatoes, and green beans with Velveeta cheese.
